The Dean: Mr. VLN SHASTRY

Graduate of Sciences and Graduate of Engineering from Andhra University, Mr. Shastry
served more than three decades in Signal and Telecommunication department of Indian
Railways. He also attended “Training for Trainers” program of Manchester University,
UK. Mr Shastry worked as Direct Trainer for 16 years in Indian Railway Institute of
Signal Engineering and Telecommunications and served for 3 years as Training
Manager for Thales in North South Railway Project of Saudi Arabia. He has worked as
VP Project Management for e2E Rail for 10 years.

The Faculty: Mr. Gangaraju

With 53 years of professional Experience in various Railway Signaling Systems, he is
faculty for Railway Signal Engineering. His extensive knowledge is based on –
Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Panel & Route Relay Interlocking (Indian, Siemens,

Geo-Westpac), Solid State Interlocking, Electronic Interlocking CBTC with Moving Block
(Thales, Bombardier and Nippon Systems) Project Planning and Systems. Mr. Gangaraju
is responsible for the management for designs, Execution, Testing & Commissioning of
various types of Signaling Systems. He has trained engineers(India, China and Malaysia)
in Railway Signaling Systems.


The Guide: MR. PV RAO


Coming from the prestigious MIRSE(UK), Mr. Rao has about 25 years of experience in
Indian Railways and 7 years in Multinational Companies and performed varied roles in
the field of Railway Signaling-Design, Planning, Execution, Testing & Commissioning
activities (viz. Panel Interlocking, Route Relay Interlocking, Computer based
Interlocking / SSI and Metro Rail system). He has also achieved many Railways Week
Awards. He has worked as a Signaling Testing Engineer for UK for one year through
RITES in 2001.


The Pedagogue: T B Subramanian


An M.Sc. in Physics and an M.B.A, Mr. Subramanian is the Lead Auditor in Management
Systems (through DNV). He has over 25 years in Railway sector through private sector
in Projects management, Vendor Development and logistics. He was also associated
with Sundaram Clayton [TVS], Alstom, GG Tronics, McMl Systems. Mr. Subramanian
served as the Quality and Documentation & Configuration Manager at [project launch
time for Thales in ETCS Level 2 (North South Railway Project) in Saudi Arabia.

The Mentor: Shri Yogendra Sharma


A recipient of National Awards five-times, including the “Minister of Railways Award”,
Mr. Yogendra Sharma is a senior railway expert with more than 36 years of experience,
including 24 years with Indian Railways & 12 years in corporate sector. As Managing
Director of Kutch Railway Company, he took up commissioning of 300 km rail line
project. Mr. Sharma was posted 4 years in Australia for a 390 Km mega project for
Railways. A great author, he has also authored 2 books on PPP in Indian context (Public-
Private Partnerships). He was also instrumental in steering Indian Railways policies for
PPP resulting in growth of private sidings for Ports, Big power, Petrochemical and other
similar projects in last 15 years.

The Course Cordinator – Ram Kumar Kunnath

Joined in Southern Railways of S&T department under open line condition in the year
1980.Worked as Signal Engineer in handling signailing construction/Maintenance activities,of various signalling equipments up to 2008 in Chennai Division of Southeern Railwayfor 28 Years. Worked as Chief Instructor in the S&T Training Centre,Southern Railway,Podanur, since 2008 and retired from there on superannuation on 31.05.2019.(Forabout 11 Years)Worked in the Inspection wing of S&T Work Shops ,Pothanur during theabove tenure, for 5 Years(Dual Charge).Worked as a visiting Trainer after retirementfor E2E Transportation Inf.(P) Ltd.


Joined as a Training Coordinator in E2 E Transportation Inf.(P) Ltd., on 12.07.2021
E2E has other associate trainers and facilitators who are continuously on the verge
of innovation and that is what has made e2E Rail, India’s number one.
