In this training program, starting with Railway track, introduction of Railway Electrification and Train Operations is explained in brief. Information on Basic Concepts of Signalling, principles of Interlocking, various aspects of Relay Interlocking and Electronic Interlocking is explained in detail. Introduction to modern Signalling Systems like TPWS, ETCS, CBTC is dealt in brief. Topics like Installation, testing and commission of Railway Signalling Systems was also covered. Trainees will learn about reading and understanding of various design drawings along with Safety practices to be followed at work site. In addition, troubleshooting and maintenance practices are also included in the syllabus.
Training Modality
After completion of 40 days of training including Classroom Training, Field Training, and Simulation Training, candidates will be evaluated with their performance by trainers as well as followed up by interviews by company officials. On successful completion of the course with minimum 90% attendance and clearing the final examination with minimum of 67% score all candidates shall provide with course completion certificates, failed candidates will be provided with course participation certificate only. Successful candidates will have professional assistance and placement opportunities as Graduate Trainee Engineer in various departments (Design/Project Management/Installation/Testing & Commissioning). The questionnaire for the evaluation and interview shall be explicitly intrinsic to the course content and as per latest industry guidelines. Each of the candidate shall be given a maximum of two opportunities to clear the final examination and receive course completion certification. All the successful candidate’s profile shall be uploaded at two international portals (TUV and Rail Personnel) along with e2E Rail webpage and any recruiter across the globe shall be able to access the candidate profile from the portal and contact candidates directly.
All successful candidates shall receive a global certification for his relevant course domain with a globally recognized unique QR code and the same shall be valid for 3 years. On expiry of the same, candidates must appear on an examination to renew the certification. The charge for reinstating the validity is not included in the course fee.
